Doesn't Washington sound like a terrible place to be. All the lobbyists, the finagling that goes on. The pork buried in bills that really cease to make the bill legitimate. No one reads them to learn that. I remember reading how the Senator from West Virginia whose name escapes me... AGAIN... used to get a lot of pork for his State... New roads... ensconced in a bill that was totally different in character... And on your post about History. They are good statements... Trouble is we aren't around to read about the HISTORY of our current moment. That bothers me. If only we could look back.
