However, the software industry has a similar problem. I know they want shelf space and their software to be seen, but what's with the HUGE boxes!!?? Most of them have help on the CDs now which leaves very little need for manuals. The music industry lobbied to get CDs out of the cardboard boxes, so why not software?? Let's go back to the days with the little zip-lock bags. :)) At least in the future most digital info should be downloaded which will solve most of these problems.
