It all depends on whether you just want to feel good about what you beleive in, or you want the greater good to occur.

Yup. Its the dirty side of politics.......the practicalities that come with running for office. There will never be the perfect candidate. Just the person who has it mostly right and is enough of a politician to get elected.

I didn't agree with a number of Kerry's positions but he would have been a 50% improvement over Bush and the country would not be in the danger it is now. People have got to get over the small stuff and look at the big picture.
