With regard to juries, many intelligent, educated people show up when summoned for jury duty; however, the attorneys prefer jury members who are not knowledgeable and who are easily manipulated. Those are the two major defining qualifications for serving on any jury. It is something of an insult to be selected to serve on a jury.
