11:30 ET Dow -76, Nasdaq -7, S&P -6.08: [BRIEFING.COM] Looks like the markets have settled into negative territory though the major indices are somewhat off the day's worst levels. Not much spectacular in today's market internals to this point. Advance/decline volume trade roughly in proportion to market breadth on both the NYSE and the Nasdaq. Big Board weakness is more pronounced with declining issues over advancers by a 2 to 1 margin. Throughout the recent market pullback the spread between new highs and new lows has remained bullish. The differential continues to skew decidedly in favor of new highs today which is favorable for equities over the intermediate term. DJTA -0.5%... DJUA +0.2%... SOX -0.1%... XOI -1.0%... BTK -0.4%...
