It's a bit warm an muggy here today. Could you ask President Bush to open up the vents on the troposphere? We need to get some convection going and cool the place down a bit. It's a bit like being in a greenhouse today.

I would normally ask Gordon Brown, but he can't do anything these days, he is in a complete pickle.

Just been reading R.W. Wood experiment conducted in 1909 again. I don't think he knew much about themodynmanics or radiation theory.

Ofcom says The Great Global Warming Swindle, broadcast last March, was in breach of a number of rules in the broadcasting code

These include criticising the government's former chief scientist, Sir David King, for comments he didn't make.

The Channel 4 documentary about global warming made "significant allegations" without offering an "appropriate and timely opportunity" to leading scientists to respond, the broadcasting regulator ruled.

But Ofcom found that despite concerns over the presentation and omission of various facts and views, the audience watching the Channel 4 programme was not "materially misled".
