12:30 ET Dow -106, Nasdaq -19, S&P -10.19: [BRIEFING.COM] The major indices now trade towards the day's worst levels. Since the first leg lower this morning, the market trend has favored the downside. Given that we're heading into Friday afternoon's typically light volume, chances for a reversal in the downward trend aren't great. Not surprisingly, market internals have taken a modest turn for the worse on this mild mid-day sell off. Declining volume outpaces advance volume by a 2 to 1 margin on both the NYSE and the Nasdaq which is slightly disproportionate to market breadth. DJTA -0.7%... DJUA +0.4%... SOX -0.6%... XOI -0.9%...
