When I was up there I noticed Dome Mines was building a "ski hill" out of waste rock from their open pit mine. They are moving 11 truck loads of waste rock for every 1 load of gold ore! And I'll bet their rock is not worth .10 oz of gold per ton ($40.00 / ton). We got near $200.00 / ton!!!
And the Kid Creek Mine is down about 5,000 feet and the've been hauling ore out of there for 33 years and backfilling with cemented waste rock with rock value of way less than $200/tons.
Snap should not be too difficult ofa mining operation starting from surface and down dipping at a decent grade. I expect mining costs to be very similar to many operations once the capital outlay is done for the infrastructure.
Congratulations to all WSP longs......
