I'm having a problem with my computer that I hope someone out there may have some ideas on how to fix.

Periodically, my monitor goes over to power saver forcing a reboot (soft normally but occasionally hard reboot). Unfortunately, the manual for my Proton monitor doesn't say anything about how to turn off the power saver option or how to reset from power saver.

About 1/2 the time when this happens, the scandisk (?) that runs when you shut down improperly finds errors in either Netscape 4.5 cache or history files. I've tried clearing the cache and/or history file after its fixed but that doesn't seem to help.

I am running Win 95 (400.950B). The only upgrades I've done is the DUN 1.2 (I believe) and going from Netscape 4.0 to 4.5.

Any ideas what's causing the problem?
