Religion's still an excuse there, but it's no longer the reason... Religion is the badge that differentiates the two sides. One side, the Catholics are the exploited, colonized natives. The other side, the Protestants, are the rich capitalists living on the sweat of the oppressed. They are about as Irish as the Honk Kong Chinese. They were dispatched there as the occupying army.
