You said, 'The Bible says that Jesus himself was born after Adam and Eve, and he was without sin. This was a correction of a previous misunderstanding.'

True Jesus was born without sin and was the perfect sacrifice. The reason He had no sin was because The Holy Spirit caused Mary's pregnancy.

"This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit." (Mat 1:18 NIV). Jesus has made things very easy for us to get the truth, no works of righteousness, no money, no powerful positions, etc., simply pray, read The Bible, let the Holy spirit teach us, and believe it.

"But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." (John 14:26 NIV)

Darrin, if you don't believe in original sin, you don't believe part of the Bible, and you disagree with King David and God.. Here are several translations.

"For I was born a sinner-- yes, from the moment my mother conceived me." (Psa 51:5 NLT)

"Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me." (Psa 51:5 NIV)

"Behold, I was shapen[1] in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive[2] me." (Psa 51:5 KJV)

"Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me." (Psa 51:5 NKJV)

"Indeed, I was born guilty, a sinner when my mother conceived me." (Psa 51:5 NRSV)

"Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me." (Psa 51:5 NASB)
