Jorj, I have enjoyed discussing claims with you, but I think tonight maybe better you give it a rest, because by saying that your credibility is shooting right down the drain. There was enormous anger in that post. And you are an English major, so you more than most have no excuse for thinking maybe there was not. In our society, that kind of phrase is used in an angry, aggressive fashion, that's the context. You know that very well. Saying otherwise is disingenuous to those of us who know better, and so do you.
I think it is nothing short of amazing that when I warn certain people of the consequences if they resort to violence there are those here who call that a threat. Please explain how that might be a threat, defending oneself. Maybe it's a threat to the defendants. Maybe they would prefer to intimidate me so that I might cower before them, and that if I say or do anything in defense, much least take the offense through legal institutions against them, I am making threats. No, I said earlier, I don't threaten anyone. I warn, and then I take action. And that action is ALWAYS civilized. I think my posting record here proves that beyond any doubt. |
