If you compare ANET and ASND since the beginning of the year, their performance is quite similar. That would indicate to me that the ANET runup is not necessarily due to the LU takeover rumors but just a general play on frame relay equipment providers. The poor earnings just gave players of this sector an opportunity to get in at a good price. Since earnings are behind us, prices of these two should remain correlated until news separates them.
