Some people don't know their stock symbols. That could be all it is. But unlike some similar symbols, these two have significant cross-ownership. Craig McCaw is a major owner of NXTL. edgar-online.com See Section K for McCaw's complex involvement. He's also the controlling owner of NXLK. McCaw (for those who don't know) is the founder of what is now AT&T Wireless, nee McCaw Cellular. He used the money he got from selling that to invest in NXTL and start NXLK and a few other companies including Teledesic, the satellite outfit in which his neighbor Bill Gates is a major investor.
