Whether or not it requires that laws be applied equally to people wasn't the question. The question was does it require that everyone be treated equally.


The two terms mean the same thing.

If you want to discuss something logically you have to be consistent with your terms.

In any case, in the US, the marriage laws are pretty much applied equally to people at this moment


Not to gay people......and "pretty much" ain't good enough just as separate but equal schools wasn't good enough for blacks.
