i came home from work and noticed my 3 year sitting on the floor and usual high what's up and he says daddy i got a rock up my nose... so i go into bedroom change over to something comfortable and go out to my son.. so you got a rock up your nose.. yes daddy,, he was still trying to blow it out.. so i take him into bedroom and lay him down on the bed and there is a pebble in his nose. I said,, "You got a rock stuck up your nose" He gave me a 3 year old look like yes,, that's what i have been telling you!
My first impression was get tweezers and pull it out it was right at the opening. My second thought what if i push it in further. so i take him to emergency ward at hospital. tell the nurse the story and wait 15 minutes. then he is taken care of by intern right away , rock comes out right away no problem. Oh, yes big time problems,,,, i get 22 questions.. how long had rock been in his nose, etc etc etc etc. & it is starting to get like i should get locked up for a kid finding a pebble perhaps from his shoe and stuffing up his nose.
Then the truth comes out. I am getting their anger because they just took care of child with pussy willows stuck up her nose. However, mom says it had been over a day or so since she stuck them up her nose and her nose was infected , swollen etc. |
