The Left is determined to to usurp individual freedom, not only in America, but around the world. The establishment Right to some extent, agrees with the Left. For example, Lindsey Graham, well known as a Trump supporter previously, made an insane statement about how Jan 6 protestors should be locked up and have the key thrown away. So did Ted Cruz (but he realized he had stepped in it politically and backed up within an hour). And McConnell has taken the same position.
So, the Political Class all sees it as something to be fixed by taking away rights to protest. Of the Right. Not of the Left -- they can burn buildings, kill people, destroy property of all kinds, look, and just commit plain murder -- on TV no less. And there is no price to be paid.
Now, the Left has taken to letting cop killers out on bond before the funerals are held for the murder victims. WTF is that?
The rule of law is effectively dead in our cities because the cities are run by Democrats.
And there is no indication the Lindsey Grahams of the world (or from my old state or Arkansas, the Asa Hutchinsons) will clean it up.
Democrats are hell bent on destroying any remnant of Democracy -- what started out as a joke (the Squad) is now deadly serious, embraced by the Left, and really troubling to those who support Democratic principles.
The Democrat Party machine is working overtime RIGHT NOW to steal the next elections, as they've found the soft underbelly of the electorate and know how to get to it. Republicans are the ONLY backstop defending democracy, and that ONLY when Trump is in charge. I do not understand why Democrats are supporting single-party politics, but it is not going to end well unless Trump is able to stop it. I'm hopeful but realistic.
I believe DeSantis could also do this, but I am not sure.
It is imperative that Trump re-take the White House. But he needs to have a rapid-fire agenda on Day One and control of both Houses of congress, and I'm not sure he can do that.
Personally, I believe the country is lost at this point, and the chances of it recovering are extremely low. So, I see Trump as a last-ditch effort that requires all hands on deck, and we don't have that. With 30 Trillion in debt (and that's before you count the coming crisis in Medicare/Medicaid), it is really survival of the nation as a free country going forward. China owns us. |
