While I haven't checked photos from iPhone II, I must say, that the ones from its predecessor aren't too impressive compared to for instance my old Sony Ericsson I850... In particular the colors are not natural. Now, that said, everybody familiar with the technology knows, that this is not a function of the sensor only, because every (CMOS) sensor calls for pixel optimizing processing to render a perfect pic. So this may not have been the best in the iPhone. Just amazing that is with technological solutions like those from Ambarella being available... /Taro
