What about Strata something or other with the Tassawini Butre Concession somewhere on the NE cost of SA? Sort of proves Global Warming and Continental drift, doesn't it? I mean the Ghanian type gold being on the other side of the Atlantic.

IMVHAAO one of the best gold plays in SA..

"StrataGold makes new discovery at Tassawini, Guyana

VANCOUVER, Sept. 15 - StrataGold Corporation (SGV-TSX) would like to report results for an additional twenty one (21) diamond drill holes (DDH's), including the discovery of a new zone of gold mineralization called Mine Creek, from the 2006 exploration program at Tassawini, Guyana. (Editor's note.. well if that is the case, go ahead and report it!!!)

The reported intersections were obtained from DDH's completed along the northeastern extension of Tassawini East and West, the southwestern extensions of Black Ridge and Tassawini South and at Mine Creek.

Mine Creek - a new discovery!

A highlight of the latest results includes the discovery of a new zone of gold mineralization called Mine Creek and is located 100 metres (m) north of Tassawini West. Four discovery DDH's - SD127, SD128, SD143 and SD144 intersected a broad zone of gold mineralization in saprolite at shallow depths.

SD127 intersected 1.90 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 65.70 m including 3.95 g/t gold over 13.20 m. SD128 was drilled 25 m behind this discovery hole on the same drill section and intersected 2.36 g/t gold over 53.80 m including 3.36 g/t gold over 25.30 m starting at a depth of 9.20 m in saprolite. SD143 and SD144 both collared in mineralization, in saprolite, intersecting 0.85 g/t gold over 25.50 m and 1.78 g/t gold over 23.20 m respectively. These four discovery holes define a minimum strike length of 150 m for Mine Creek which remains open in all directions. This new discovery adds approximately 10% to the strike length of the known mineralization defined by diamond drilling at Tassawini to date. The true width of Mine Creek appears to be a minimum of 50 m and represents a new and exciting drill target."
