I'll bet that Powell is in favor of protecting Arafat, and Rumsfeld is in favor of getting rid of him. The Bush administration knows that there will not be peace until, at least, Arafat is dead. So, it is strange that the US is for the Road Map, but against getting rid of Arafat.

I guess the problem is, there is no telling who will fill the void.

That is sad. The character of a people can be judged by how well they treat their minorities.

I'll bet that almost none of the high school students in America know about the Turkish genocide of the Armenian people, from 1914 through about 1921.

Maybe that is why Kerry and the Democrat Party wants the UN to take over Iraq. They want in on the kickbacks.
