Copmustat used .09 for 1/89. That is the number used for the correlation analysis. My proprietary method is more accurate for it pulls cash and cash shortfalls from unsuspected places, ex. Full cost reserves, bad debt reservesm warranty reserves, contingent liability resevers. revenue deferrals etc. The probelm is that is such a rigorous exercise, that it is more practical to rely on reputable data vendor for a large (multi-industry) analysis.
