Business is, IMO, rarely steady. In a cyclical business it is even
less steady.

IMO, everytime a company moves up to another plateau there is a transition phase. During that phase, there are stresses put on
departments and key personnel. I can't count the times I have asked
myself: "WHY am I putting up with this...(synonym for excrement)?!"

I don't have a stock purchase plan to look at, though. But I do
have a boss who seems to know when I'm just about to lose it, and
he has a way of calming me down w/o ever entering into a confrontational situation.

As my boss is fond of saying: "this too shall pass."
