Though if you are picking up one of those lottery tickets that let you get off easier, I'd suggest you consider buying the I Killed A Black Person ticket.

Murderers of blacks are less likely to be executed than murderers of whites.

And buy a I Am a Woman ticket.

Women who kill have luckier lottery tickets than men who do.

And buy a I Have a College Education lottery ticket.

This is probably no longer the case, but at one time I read in a huge book about capital punishment by Hugo Bedau that in the history of the state of Maryland, there had never been an execution of a person with a college education.

Definitely buy a I Am Not Mentally Deficient lottery ticket.

But the best ticket of all is the I Am Rich lottery ticket.
