That is the most ridiculous thing I've seen. I'm not saying it hasn't happened, but if it has on such a high profile stock - then these guys are looking for trouble.
I don't buy that explanation.
This, I buy...somebody on USENET picked this up:

It's a CIBC Oppenheimer downgrade again. Now...:

- CIBC goofed the previous time with APPL too
- their up/downgrade history (which I examined) suggests they haven't much clue what they are talking about with other stocks, either

Given all the above, I'm seriously pondering to use the "bet against the dead" tactic on CIBC. It's a poker tactic (I think) where one spots a player who loses no matter what he tries, and simply bids *against*, to win, CIBC is the best "dead" material on stocks I have seen in years. They seem to possess the golden touch for giving bad advice. Might as well make a buck or two on them...

This is about right...
CIBC has been dead wrong on just about EVERY stock I've made money on. These guys just don't get the industry.
