Townsend sure has it's hands into many aspects of remote daytrading, if anything happens to them the industry would be in a pickle. <g> I found an earlier comment that Cyber leases a quote processing server from Townsend: Message 5445546 Apparently Cyber wants to get out from under this arrangement as Berber's recent post says they are about to replace the "third party" server with Cyber's own 'Price Server' design. I'm guessing this would not reduce commissions though as the lease fees would be offset by in house programming costs. (I could just picture the next phase though, a CYBR ECN, not that it would happen of course.<g>)
