Ancient Greece was a rag tag collection of City States. Socrates was an Athenian, Gorgias was from Leontine, Prodicus from Cean and Hippias was an Elean. The morality was as diverse as the cuisine.

I doubt if Greek culture and morality was vastly different from city to city. I think there was an overall culture with shared ideas, including moral and religious ideas.

But, if that's your opinion above, what exactly are you talking about when you talk about Greek culture being superior to ours ... shouldn't you specify which of the very many cultures and moralities you're talking about as being superior to us? And which were inferior to us morally?
