Company Press Release

NetUSA Announces Newly Added Alliances with Digital
River, Design Science & English Computerized Learning,
Inc.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 1998--NetUSA, Inc. (OTCBB:NTSA - news) announced that it
has reached an agreement with Digital River, Inc. [Nasdaq:DRIV - news] of Edina, Minn., to distribute NetUSA's flagship
software product, Mac-In-DOS, on Digital River's electronic shopping service. Digital River will also make the
demonstration version of Mac-In-DOS available on Digital River's website. In July, the companies had announced a
cooperative agreement to share databases between Digital River's website and NetUSA's Software Center
(www.softwarecenter.com ).

''We were already working very closely with Digital River on our electronic shopping services, and the cooperation has
proven to be greatly mutually beneficial,'' said NetUSA President Dr. Wun C. Chiou. ''By making Mac-In-DOS available
for Digital River to retail, many more people will know about Mac-In-DOS and will be using it.''

Mac-In-DOS is a PC utility software that allows PCs to read and write a variety of storage media formatted in Mac OS
format, including floppy diskettes, Iomega Zip and Jaz drives, Syquest drives, CD-ROMs, and Mac OS hard drives. This
allows the PC user to directly access Mac OS files off those storage media and to copy the files to/from his PC file system.
The current version of Mac-In-DOS (3.0) runs on Windows 95/98 and Windows NT. It is fully integrated with the
Windows Explorer (on Windows 95/98/NT) and Internet Explorer (on Windows 98). A demo version can be downloaded
at NetUSA website (www.netusa.com/pacmicro).

NetUSA also announced that it has reached agreement with Design Science, Inc., a software firm based in Long Beach,
Calif., to distribute Design Science's MathType software on Software Center, and with English Computerized Learning,
Inc., a software firm based in Edmonton, Alberta, to distribute English Computerized Learning's Pronunciation Power and
Speech Solutions software on Software Center.

MathType, Design Science's flagship product, is an upgraded and more powerful version of Design Science's Equation
Editor, and allows the easy editing of all kinds of mathematical formulas in word processors and other applications. Due to
Equation Editor's ease of use, it is currently packaged with, among other applications, Microsoft Office, ClarisWorks,
WordPerfect, and Nisus Writer. MathType allows the transferring of formulas through cut-and-paste, OLE, and EGO.
Further, the equations may be saved as EPS, GIF, TeX, WMF, and PICT files. MathType fully works on Windows 3.1,
Windows 95/98, Windows NT, and Mac OS, and provides excellent cross-platform support.

Speech Solutions is a program that allows the user to learn correct English pronunciation by not only hearing the correct
pronunciation of the sounds from the computer, but also by speaking into a microphone to let the computer analyze the user's
pronunciation patterns. Pronunciation Power, a more advanced version of Speech Solutions, further includes advanced
multimedia features to allow the user to see the proper mouth and tongue placements for the correct pronunciation and a
variety of activities designed to help the user in the learning of correct pronunciation. Both Pronunciation Power and
Speech Solutions are available for Windows 3.1, Windows 95/98, and Mac OS.
