Thanks for the link to Enditall2. I'm testing it now. From a layman's point of view the new interface is very confusing. I guess it's telling me a whole bunch more than I wanted to know. As non-expert end users we just want the program to shut down everything that's safe to shut down with as little trouble as possible. I finally tried just using the killall button and it closed everything that was viewable in the normal Close Programs window(except Systray and Explorer) so it did accomplish the same thing as the original EndItAll .
