This guy needs to do some homework on the USG budget - he mentions $600 billion for defense and foreign aid while defense has run under $400 billion until recently and foreign aid can't be much more than $20 billion if that.

Would have been more interesting if he had focused on the implications of the US deliberately shattering the post-Cold War G8/UN/NATO-based international order. That is the most likely factor to lead to a general US decline in American global influence (though his emphasis on wasting money on foreign military adventures is a good analogy).
