1) how can you be sure you program catches all the errors?
2) how can you be sure you program doesn't catch false errors and generate new bugs?
3) how can you be sure your automatic correct generates the right corrected code?

A good programmer tests his program. There isn't just one copy of a program or application per Company. You test your program on several real applications and then test the result. Before you announce you have a product! We have known about this problem for a few years now. Plenty of time to begin producing solutions. We will begin to hear from several of the Y2K companies and if the price is low enough some client companies will hire these solutions. We have at least two more years to get this straightened out. Greed is the major push behind this past week and I believe greed is quickly turning into fear. Hence the next week will be interesting indeed. The only people in the comfort zone are those in below $40. Anyone above that has missed a little sleep lately.
