Farooq 'Eathen Allen' Kathwari,Kashmiri not an Indian.

I respect Kathwari's claims to his Kashmiri identity rather than his Indian roots.

But a few troubling, but illuminating points:
Somehow his last name sounds more Indian than Muslim, more Hindu than Muslim. Am I imagining? Enlighten me.
His legacy and genetic linkage are shared with the Kashmiri Pundits and have no connection to Arab genes. Pundits and Muslims in Kashmir are from a common stock. From the record of history, there were no Muslims in Kashmir before Muslim invasion and therefore the Pundits and Muslims have a common Hindu heritage. The Muslims in Kashmir are converts and are not Arabs. It is like that Christ was Jewish first before he was a Christian. Am I wrong in wondering that if you hate a Jew you may be hating Christ for his Jewishness?
It is the Hindu genes, heritage and legacy that gave him that entrepreneurial spirit and the freedom of thought to say what he has on his mind. To that extant, I want to salute his free spirit.

But will I buy furniture from him? I am not sure. Because he hates to identify himself with India, I wonder what his attitude is towards me as a customer. There is no way you can separate the man for his mind.

That But He Is Dead Ethan Allen Commercial is funny, to say the least.
