<<Do we sell or take the Ludin shares?>>

Here are my thoughts, fwiw. I would really like to hear how Crossy sizes this up.

I have no interest in owning Ludin. I spoke with Valk IR some weeks back and posted here. They had a nice spin, describing the potential for Ludin to leverage Valk's experience in Russia for increased work. Probably some merit to this but the company is too large and such successes don't seem like they would have a significant impact on the share price.

Therefore, I would have sold all my shares (instead of half) for a nice profit right after the announcement of acquisition. The only reason I have held on to the remaining half is my thought that the deal will be voted down by Valk shareholders on July 25 unless Ludin sweetens it considerably. But I have no idea how the vote will go.

At this point, I wish I had sold all previously. I believe that there could be a stampede to the exits if the deal is approved by Valk shareholders. So large downside if deal approved to a moderate upside if deal voted down. A conservative investor would probably lock in gains.

Hey, that vote is Tuesday! If you decide to sell, you had better do it on Monday. May be too late after that. If approved, the deal is scheduled to close on Aug 1, quickly locking you into illiquid Swedish shares instead of illiquid pinks (if you're a U.S.-based investor).
