Getting caught up with my reading, front page of the local paper, the Ottawa Citizen, has John Roth CEO of NT stepping aside. If that wasn't bad enough, heir apparent Chandran resigns!!! We all now know the telecom build out is halted for at least 2-3 Qs, take a strong stomach to step up to the plate and buy NT now.
The only bright spot I see in retrospect is this, many on SI have been discussing the immense inventory. While no-one argues this point, some food for thought is that regardless of what happens to the inventory, we are talking hi-tech here. Point being, the stuff becomes obsolete in 6 months regardless of whether it gets top dollar or not, so the cycle will begin again as capex starts to crank, my best guestimate again, is 2-3 Qs out.
