Wish I had this collection of specialized talent working on all my bios. Thanks to everyone for sharing your various skilled insights.

With pilocarpine and MGI 114 stealing the limelight, I note that not much has been said about DHAC which they purchased from ILEX Oncology in 96. Would appreciate the same informed comments on the status of the DHAC trials, ILEX, clinical potential, research reports etc. DHAC is also included in the product development agreement with the Dainippon Pharmaceutical as I understand it.

Some clips saved from somewhere.

* DHAC is a drug that has the potential to treat several types of cancers and genetic blood diseases, including myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), mesothelioma lung cancers associated with asbestos exposure, AIDS-related lymphomas, prostate cancer, and thalassemia major (a fatal genetic blood disease). During 1997, MGI intends to initiate a Phase II study with DHAC to treat MDS, a bone marrow disease affecting up to 10,000 people in the United States annually.

* MGI hopes to initiate Phase II and Phase I studies, respectively, late in 1997.

Rick: You stole my thunder on the 114 + Depo connection. I was going to wait to hear Phase I tox results first before seeking royalties. Been working feeverishly on a claim to a name ........ DepoOmphalotus sounded good...as I can't lay claim to the product finders fee anymore :-)
