No, I wouldn't bet on anything this administration might do.

Having said that, its well known in human psychology that when someone volunteers a piece of information inexplicably, the converse to that info is usually true. Hence, the guy is saying that, in spite of poor recruitment, they have no plans to impose a draft suggests they are, in fact, discussing the possibility of a draft.

I don't think either one of us wants to commit to sending money to someone we've never met in person but the bet could be for nothing other than the satisfaction of winning, or maybe the loser has to read a book or see a movie recommended by the winner, or anything of little consequence like that.

We have a growing problem.......we have some very definite military commitments in the world and the growing possibility of a troop shortage due to poor recruitment and lagging reenlistments. You do the math.
