Amy doesn't think I'm qualified to talk about abortion since I have never had one, I'm not qualified to talk about Terri Schiavo because I may not have had a friend on life support, or I'm not allowed to talk about death since I have not died.

I didn't read her write any of those things, but I have read posts where she tries to understand how much personal exposure you have to the issues being discussed.

In my opinion, your view of whether someone else should have an abortion is less important than the view of the person considering it. Your view of Terry Schiavo is probably less knowledgeable than someone who has been in her husband's (and parent's) position. But.....your view of death is pretty much on par (as far as direct experience) with the rest of us, except for perhaps that guy from Motley Crue that was legally dead for 2 minutes or something like that.

As for Terry Shiavo, if the parents want to keep her alive why doesn't the husband just divorce her and leave it at that? It does seem pretty strange that he doesn't just give her up to someone that wants to expend the resources to keep her alive, but I haven't followed it much at all.
