Hi John:

You were not beating a dead horse at all. I am a new, recently humbled investor that is still fortunate enough to be in the black from my initial starting capital.

When you follow stocks, do you try to figure out what specific future earnings will be from new releases? To expound: How could one take pieces of news such as Wireless subscribers outnumbering Wireline subscribers in Japan, or WCDMA being rolled out instead of CDMA 2000, and figure out how that will play on future earnings? All that I am currently able to do is say to myself "oh that sounds good" or "ooohh, that would be bad".

Any thoughts? Thanks,

Noah
