President Bush seems like a likeable guy and downright funny .
He struts his stuff like John Wayne. However this is not the movies and Bush was never an actor.
I see America turning into a police state much like the communists of years past. The destruction of terrorism is being used for an excuse to take away any rights we once had. The news is censored with the government purchasing rights to air what they want accepted.
Olympians are denied entry for admitting they smoked pot when the President of our country snorted cocaine and was in rehab himself.
Victim and victimless crime are treated equally?
A guy with a gun gets life over a 20$ theft as companies like Enron steal billions and the congress wants to make a civilized hearing out of it? How about the death penalty for dishonest accounting? Bet the market would tank on that law!
Even the oil companies dont take him serious because if they did, the threats against Iraq and Iran would be enough to push the osx.x to rocket heaven.
Bush's anti abortion and pro prayer stance makes his position popular with the conservatives and the religious right. They fail to realize that the separation of church and state protects their own freedom!(I never knew you needed a law to pray to God in your own mind)Dont Pray as the hypocrites do in public, instead a closet does just fine?
President Clinton was a fine president but his morals, exposed by the press overshadowed the good he did for the working man and his country. If they had purchased the rights to the news like the present administration we probably still wouldnt know about it.
Im afraid that the fear and anger over terrorism will hide the damage being done to our democracy by the republican agenda of lies and greed for the benefit of the very rich and powerful. Our enviroment and freedoms are being destroyed, all with record ratings of approval for the present administration. Everyones afraid to say so because its made to be unpatriotic?
Clintons lies about his morals didnt hurt me at all but Im afraid Bush's and the republican deception of the American people will lead us into a road of destruction that we will never recover from.
