Hi everyone,

I am new to SI but I've been following your thread as well as a couple of others for sometime. This thread is clearly the most profitable out of the group and the most active. My approach to trading is similar to most of yours, in that I want to make as much money in the shortest period of time. However, the past couple of weeks with all the money that has been made has also shown the dangers of buying a stock that is in the heart of its advance. How many of you sat for hours wondering whether or not you had a position in a stock or if you were able to sell, and at what price. Its every man or woman for themselves and the MM's are as greedy as the rest of us. The ideal position to be in is to find these stocks BEFORE they start to take off because it allows you to set your own price as well as accumulating a sizeable position in the stock. A perfect example was CNKT - three weeks ago you could have bought as many shares as you wanted for about $.50 it later shot up to over $16.00 a share. Even if you would have sold at $6.0 missing the top completely you would have had a huge return. TMEX said it himself the other day when he pointed out that all of his picks recently have been early. Which is great for all of us especially the more novice investors who don't have the experience to daytrade.

My strategy is very simple - Identify stocks that have been beaten down, let the insiders in the company tell me the future direction of the stock and use the chart to identify when to take a position. I want to own it before it hits the daytraders radar screen.

Here are a couple of examples -

VISG - Insiders bought 300,000 shares between $2.0-4.0 during May and August of 98. The price just it a low of .93 and is currently at $1.5.

POSO - +25,000 $1.3-2.5 10/98 - +26,000 $4-8.0, 4/98. The stock is currently at $2.56 after hitting a dollar in October

ACLR - +100,000, $1.2-2.0 - 8/98. The price is currently $.93

ACEC - +110,000, $1.8-2.6 - 9/98. The price is currently $4.25

The charts on all these companies look good. Of course I am not telling anyone to buy any of these stocks. We all know that there is no substitute for DD (especially your own).

Thanks for listening and enjoy your weekend.
