For more than 6 generations, those folks have known that Mother Nature would win. Their decision was to enjoy the view, and stay. Now, Mother Nature is insisting they move. They have had ample warming. Perhaps the Government can help them find some new land, but I honestly don't think it's a "right" to have the Government/aka the Taxpayers pay for everything to be moved.

NO is the same thing. And perhaps even more of a good/bad example. What kind of mentality thinks they can build BELOW sealevel and then whine because they lost everything to Mother Nature...? And then even worse, expect the taxpayers to pay for their folly?

People want to be free....and yet on the other hand, they want to be wards of the State.

I really don't think we can have it both ways.
