Hi Gorby,

First let me welcome you to my thread. Thanks for your history with Bob Brinker.

The way he treated his Marketimer subscribers and Moneytalk listeners during the 2008-09 MEGA-bear market was truly shameful.

His only correspondence with subscribers was when he issued "buy-signals" repeatedly as the market just kept dropping. Each one indicated that he thought the market had bottomed.

Adding insult to injury, when a buy-signal would be taken out, he never mentioned it again. He would simply wait awhile and issue a new "buying-opportunity."

Amazingly, the month that the market did bottom (March 2009), he wrote in Marketimer that several things would have to fall in place before he could call another bottom. The market bottomed SEVEN days after that was published.

Brinker has never mentioned all of those COSTLY blunders (for followers), but instead, now he harkens back to more recent buys he's made during this recent cyclical bull -- or he even harkens back to year-2000, like he did in a recent issue of Marketimer.

Of course, the ridiculous part of all this "buy-signal" pap is that he remained fully invested the whole time -- since March 2003!
