We never had the support of the Muslim world. The ones who didn't actively oppose us tolerated our actions out of necessity for themselves. Your assertion that fundamentalist Christians and Neocons are the ones who marched into Iraq is simply hogwash. Timothy McVeigh was not a right wing lunatic. He was just a plain lunatic who wanted to make a big splash, and that's all he did. The authentic conservative condemns McVeigh, and every terrorist like him. He had nothing to do with conservatism, the right wing, Christian fundamentalism, or anything of the sort. Only a few people on earth are more evil than he.
