I think it also has to do with Wintel today. Intel like Msft getting into the same market can hurt. Intel announced 10/100 Fast Ethernet cards and a chip and all the Networkers get hurt, Mostly 3Com since its in direct competition. Even a well respected, large company like 3COM can get hurt going head to head with a market leader. Although I don't think Corel had the Vision going into Java, it was just jumping on the BandWagon. The Vision belongs to SUNW and the ex-employees at Mariamba (sp?). cl
