ED, I spent two years trading QTR and I just can't play that one anymore. Way too many disappointments but maybe this is their year. They are very smart just not very lucky. Of course Charters hates them because at one time he was recommending them as a buy for the property adjoining Perina. They drilled 6 holes I think, then packed it in and Charters felt they never gave the property a chance (thats his defense). Anyways they got their big cash position from a PP based on QG the Chile property that had the potential for a copper find. They drilled and came up with absolutely nothing!!!! Not even a hint.
The timing of the PP was also right after the FGX discovery and QTR of course promotes Y51 right in the middle of FGX property. Doris let me in on that one weeks before because she knew FGX was making the big hits. Now they are drilling Y51 and may hit but anymore it has to be spectacular or the market to even react. Sorry for rambling but continuing the story they then promote Conchaturio in the south Ancash district it got a huge amount of investor attention but again came up with nothin. Since then they have been conserving cash and have really done nothing on their own the last year. They are great at getting JV's and they have the biggest property portfolio for a junior that I have ever seen.

Sorry again, Too many beers tonight or maybe not enough.

PS one very important detail about Y51 is that Alamos directors were the majority placee in a PP at some pretty high prices specifically for financing exploration on Y51 so that leads me to believe they have high expectations there - Why they waited 2 years for the roads to go in?

John
