Jeff, IMHO the short squeeze is over. Those of us shorts who resisted the opportunity to take a tax loss on Friday certainly are not going to be squeezed now, the ones facing margin calls took their tax loss. In fact some of the previously squeezed shorts will be returning. The next factor to drive this stock will be longs taking their profits as soon as they can get it into the next tax year.

Also IMHO Zitel has no factual news that it can release which will support the current valuation and of course can not deal in rumors. Thus their best course of action is to delay any announcements that might not support the current valuation. My prediction is that the promised January 6th announcements will be delayed. Please note that this is only speculation on my part, I have no inside information.

Here is my prediction on Zitel stock prices, you can put 50 cents with it and buy a cup of coffee:

Down 10 Monday.
Down 5 Tuesday.
Down 10 Thursday
Mixed Friday and on the 6th
Down more on the 7th when news is delayed.
Anybody's guess after that.

Anybody who invests any money based on the above prediction is as crazy as I am, but I think the excitement is over. I expect I will be short ZITL for a long time, its not that I don't believe in the company or in the product, I don't believe in the y2k problem!!! Maybe that's because I am one of the 1970's programmers who wrote some of these monsters. I predict that very large sums will be spent, but it will be spent on upgrades to new software, not repairing white elephants.

Roger
