I wonder how much Rikard has come to agree with him <ggg>

There's a kicker to that little tale of my ISP which you may find of interest: those fiber optic lines which carry the signals in and out of my good little ISP are provided, not by the RBOC, but by the cable company. Seems they could do the job better, and cheaper. Not all cable companies are quite so backwards and technically inept these days.
