This is what I have been sensing also. For Bush this is a major victory. The Dems have been bashing Bush and coming in with deadlines for bringing the troops home since Madame Pelosi took office. Whereas, Bush has gone about the business of fighting a necessary war. First Pelosi and gang wanted the troops home now, then 8 months from now, and then by the spring of 2008 and now we have Hillary declaring, shouting that "I will bring the troops home if I am elected". I continue to have a lot of admiration for Bush and his tenacity. Lesser men would have given up and collapsed under the weight of these nay sayers. mj
