It seems Bill Gutheridge passes away and heads up to heaven. God met him at the gate and told him He would accompany him to his mansion.
Gutheridge was impressed. He didn't know for sure that there really were mansions when someone went to heaven. But God assured him that they existed and proceeded to take him to his.
As they approached, Gutheridge was very impressed. His mansion was 5 times the size of the last dome where his team played, with over 1,000 rooms, 10 flags flying everywhere, and a band marching out front playing the UNC fight song, beautiful beyond compare.
However, in the distance, Gutheridge could see another mansion--5 times the size of his, painted Kentucky blue and white, UK and Kentucky flags were flying everywhere, a 2,000 member band playing "My Old Kentucky Home," and millions of lights shining down upon this huge mansion.
Gutheridge turned to God and said, "I didn't know Tubby Smith died as well. That's a shame."
God replied, "HE DIDN'T! THAT'S MY HOUSE!" |
