rdmsqito--My strategy is to get in as close as possible to the opening bid; sell half at where I think that those who got in from the underwriters price will profit-take; and then sell 30 percent at the point where I think those who got in on the bid will sell. If all goes well, I've locked in profits, maintained my IPO buying money and, if I feel the stock is prospective (KOOP/PKTR/NTOP/FCS/ICGE) I leave 20 to 30 shares in for whatever ride comes down the future pike. This, coupled with my refusal to lose more than 1 1/2 to two points (selling when necessary), leaves me with building profits and always ready for the next IPO. Hope this helps.
