Thanks, donald... I appreciate you getting back to us with the proportions. That really can make a difference in the outcome, since both of these spices can be very dominating. I did have an additional thought come to mind. Do you realize how many varieties of mint there are? I will assume that she is using spearmint. If it isn't regular spearmint, let us know!! The type of mint used would definitely give a wonderful variation on this recipe! Is your daughter cooking Thanksgiving dinner for you?!! I hope you have a wonderful feast no matter who the chef is!
